Roger earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The University of Tampa and a Master of Science in Financial Services from the American College.

CFP®
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™(CFP®) certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

CLU®
Chartered Life Underwriter

The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. Since 1927, more than 94,000 individuals have earned their CLU®, helping them build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. For financial representatives, field management, home office personnel, and others involved in providing life insurance products to the public, the CLU® designation symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.

ChFC®
Chartered Financial Consultant

The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation focuses on the comprehensive financial planning process as an organized way to collect and analyze information on a client's total financial situation; to identify and establish specific financial goals; and to formulate, implement, and monitor a comprehensive plan to achieve those goals. The ChFC® program provides financial services professionals with in-depth knowledge of the skills needed to perform comprehensive financial planning for their clients.

CASL®
Chartered Advisor for Senior Living

Holders of the CASL® designation have completed five in-depth courses with comprehensive exams covering such subjects as retirement planning, social gerontology, health and long-term care financing, investments and estate planning.

CRPS®
Certified Retirement Plans Specialist

A professional designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning to individuals who specialize in creating, implementing and maintaining retirement plans for businesses.  The CRPS® is a case-study based, client-centered problem-solving approach to retirement planning.

AEP®
Accredited Estate Planner

The AEP® designation is a graduate-level specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning. It is awarded to estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, and character.

CFS®
Certified Fund Specialist

The CFS designation program is an intermediate-to-advanced course on mutual funds, ETFs, REITs, closed-end funds, and similar investments. The program deals with advanced topics in fund analysis and selection, asset allocation, and portfolio construction. In addition, it also covers sophisticated investment strategies for risk management, taxes, and estate planning.

RICP®
Retirement Income Certified Professional

An RICP® designee is trained to understand how to structure effective retirement income plans, how to mitigate risks to the plan, and how to create a sustainable stream of income to last throughout a client’s retirement years.

CMFC®
Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor

Individuals who hold the CMFC® designation have completed a course of study encompassing all aspects of mutual funds and their uses as investment vehicles. Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.

AWMA®
Accredited Wealth Management Advisor

Those who hold the AWMA® designation have completed a course of study encompassing wealth strategies, equity-based compensation plans, tax reduction alternatives, and asset protection alternatives. Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.

AAMS®
Accredited Asset Management Specialist

Individuals who hold the AAMS® designation have completed a course of study encompassing investments, insurance, tax, retirement, and estate planning issues. Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.
